Just to make it a little more interesting, Adventure Gamers has posted an 8-page interview with Adrian Carr, including tons of new screenshots and behind the scenes images from Tesla Effect. There are some marked spoilers, so if you're avoiding them, you should be able to skip!
Adrian Carr - A Film Director's Take on Tex Murphy

Just a heads up for anyone in the Salt Lake City area, or who can be the first week of September, there will be a panel for Tesla Effect on Friday, September 6th. For more details on the Comic Con click here, and for a list of panels click here.
While I can't share the backers-only video, I think it's safe to say in the interest of promoting the panel, Chris Jones, Aaron Conners, Adrian Carr, Larry Thomas (Lt. Danwicz, The Soup Nazi) and Kevin Murphy ("Voice" in Tesla Effect) will all be in attendance. I can't attend, so I hope there's a recording afterwards, but it should be good! Adrian Carr has told Chris Marsland that in order for Chris Jones to give our petition to Microsoft (and have it make any impact) we need about 15,000 signatures. At this point, we have about 2000. If you haven't already done so (this is the same petition that we've had going on for more than a year now) sign it by clicking here.
Adrian Carr has confirmed the message DV posted on the Unofficial Tex Murphy board that the Flash Webisodes that were planned have been replaced by radio shows. From what I understand, it will play out much like radio shows that kept people entertained before the television came along. There is no information yet on when they'll be released, but it will use the voices of several of the actors from the games. Adrian also said that there are still plans to bring Tex to the big screen and efforts are also being made to make the next Tex game. Hopefully I'll have some more news to report about this soon.
Aaron Conners has sent out an e-mail to those who asked him about the message posted Thursday night at texmurphy.com. This is what he had to say:
Hello everyone: Since you all sent me the announcement below, I thought I'd respond en masse. This is an obvious and quite entertaining hoax. I thought the biggest tip-offs were the Photo Gallery of scantily clad "Tex Girls", and me being quoted as saying "...our old MASTERPIECES..." Chris and I would certainly love to do to release an "Ultimate Detective Box Set," but it's not being done. Thanks for all the interest, Aaron So it was another imposter. At first I thought it might be real, but the more I thought about everything that was being said in the message the more I realized it had to be a fake. Several good points were made at the texmurphy.com message board. On another note we still have something to be happy about when it comes to Tex. According to Adrian Carr a Tex movie is currently in the works and the scripts for the next three games have been written. Check out all the news at Adele's Adrian Carr page. Well, I hope everyone had a great New Year!
I've added a link to Adele's Adrian Carr page in Autotech. Added an interview with Adrian Carr by Nick. Quote of the week is back and in a new spot. Check it out over at the right. You may notice download of the week is gone. It's just really hard to find good downloads to put there, so I got rid of it.
New! Adrian Carr interview by Adele, with information on Tex and his film career. Click here to go to it.
Also, you may have noticed some small changes to the Pandora and UAKM sections. I've changed the titles on the sections (not the names, but how they're set up) and I've also put those two sections into subdirectories. Look for some more changes coming soon. Added Henry Darrow and Adrian Carr bios to Crimelink Computer.
